G J Thompson

Born in Denver, raised in Chicago, GJ Thompson is an actor, director, and writer based in St Petersburg, FL. He currently serves as the Producing Artistic Director and CEO of St Petersburg Shakespeare Festival (http://www.stpeteshakesfest.org/)

G J's theatrical education includes degrees in theater from Florida State University and the University of South Florida. In addition, he has studied acting at the Goodman Theater and Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago.  GJ Thompson has a PhD in Interdisciplinary  Humanities.

GJ enjoys following his three hometown sports teams, visiting local museums, studying cultural history, and promoting local theater and artists.
